Find answers to common questions about our shoe repair services,
pricing, and process.
Based on what kind of repairs are needed to the shoe, it can take
anywhere between 3-10 days.
The midsole of the shoe has crumbled due to age and lack of love.
If the shoe is not worn, the material on most pairs of shoes
(which is foam) must be molded to the shape of your foot. Lack of
pressure can deteriorate the foam on the shoes and cause it to
become more brittle over time.
The solution to this will require a service called a
sole swap. This is where you find another shoe
that is comparable to the model you are seeking repairs for and
transplanting the donor midsole or outsole to the preferred pair.
This will require the purchase of a donor pair of shoes which can
be provided by the customer or Sole Seekers, but this will be
included in the final billing for materials.
This is a natural chemical reaction where oxygen, air, light, and
moisture break down materials (like rubber or plastic soles),
causing them to turn yellow or brown over time. This process is
called oxidation and is common in shoe materials, especially on
midsoles and outsoles.
Typically all repairs can take anywhere from 3-10 days depending
on the services required.
